From the official website of UiTM Kelantan, i found that this campus Was established on the 1st of July 1985 Universiti Teknologi MARA Cawangan Kelantan (UiTMCK) was the 9th branch campus in Malaysia. Previously known as Institut Teknologi MARA Kelantan (ITM Kelantan), this campus was officiated by YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Mohammad bin Yaakob. The campus was established with the co-operation of the Kelantan State Government and was built on a 12 acres land at Kem Kijang. Financed by the state government, the renovation process amounted to RM1.5 million in total. In 1996, ITM Kelantan was relocated to the current permanent campus at Bukit Ilmu, Machang district.

UiTMCK has ever since soared into a premier tertiary education centre and geared up by the establishment of its city campus (Kampus Kota) in Kota Bharu, in 2007. UiTMCK continues to strive and is ever committed into making UiTM a world class university at large.

To establish UiTM as a premier university of outstanding scholarship and academic excellence capable of providing leadership to Bumiputeras’s dynamic involvement in all professional fields of world-class standards in order to produce globally competitive graduates of sound ethical standing.

MISSION

To enhance the knowledge and expertise of Bumiputeras in all fields of study through professional programmes, research work and community service based on moral values and professional ethics.

• UiTM Library Kampang Machang, Kelantan was established in 1985 at Kijang campus campus and has moved to Bukit Ilmu's permanent campus starting in 1996.
• On 15 July 2008, UiTM Kelantan Library was rebranded under the name Tengku Anis Library (PTA) in conjunction with the Former YMM Raja Perempuan Kelantan, Tengku Anis IbniTengku Abdul Hamid.
• UiTM Library Kampus Machang plays a role in supporting all learning, teaching, research and knowledge development programs by providing various types of services, diversity of collections, technology and up-to-date information.
• Operated by Deputy Chief Librarian Mrs. Hajah Nik Annita Hj Nik Omar and assisted by Three Senior Librarians and supported by 22 support staff.
• The Tengku Anis Library has upgraded its operations and library system from the ILMU system to the WILS system from May 2017.
• It has a branch library at the Kota Bharu Campus known as the Tengku Anis 2 Library and headed by En Muslim Bin Ismail as Senior Librarian and 7 staff members.
